By Niels Dutka, the Preacher 8-PLAYER MAPS All 8-player maps are suitable for teamplay. You can use 2 teams with 4 players on each team, or you can use 4 teams with 2 players on each team. Alternatively, the map can be played as a free-for-all battle, or for a single player to fight against the computer AI. It is recommended that you use 'fixed' starting positions when playing with these maps.

You can then decide whether or not you want to download the map. Note: the first 8-player map that I created for Soulstorm is 'Mount Shiva.' The newest 8-player map that I created is 'Mesas.' SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS Before downloading or installing a map, you may need to pay attention to the size of the map. If a map is normal or large in size, it should run on your computer with the same system requirements as demanded by the basic 'Dawn of War' specifications.
If a map is enormous, however, the system requirements will be more demanding. I recommend that your computer have a minimum of 4GB of RAM. I also recommend that you have a video card with at least 1GB of RAM. If you are operating with Windows XP, the video card that I recommend is the AMD Radeon HD5450 XFX or better. MAP INSTALLATION In order to play any of the maps, you will need a copy of the computer game, 'Dawn of War' along with all of its expansion sets: 'Winter Assault,' 'Dark Crusade,' and 'Soulstorm.' Some of the maps will not render properly without all of the expansion sets.
